Muzik for iPhone and iPod touch is back! After several updates to the 2.x version of the software, I felt it was time to take it down, give it a bit of a hiatus and eventually breathe new life into the application.
Overview:
Muzik for iPhone and iPod Touch (and now iPad) was conceived as my own secret little alternative-player for the device. Styled according to plain, modern, minimalistic and text-driven guidelines, the app is a nice little piece of (functional) eye-candy for your devices with nearly all the features you expect to get in an app such as this.
As of 3.5.1, Video-Compatibility has been enabled on the iPod Touch and iPhone, the feature which was previously iPad-only. This is done through iTunes File Sharing. Drop Videos of any size onto the list, and relaunch (quit entirely) Muzik for them to be visible in the Videos-Menu.
Artistik is the primary Theme of Muzik. It is designed to add a splash of colour or design to the backdrop. After following the instructions on the Website, you MUST relaunch (quit entirely) the app before the changes will take effect.

What's new in Version 3.5.1

- Fixes an issue where the Shuffle Mode may not always activate.
- Podcasts and Audiobooks have been split from the Songs results and added to the Main Menu.
- Lyrics are now available for songs with them included. Activated by tapping on the Song Name in Now Playing.
- Shuffle now turns OFF when in the Picker. You will need to REACTIVATE shuffle when you return to Now Playing.
